Here I am lying down on my bed, blasting the music with maximum volume and it seems as if the world is perfect and it has no problems. I take a bite of my grilled cheese sandwich while cold air from the air conditioner surrounds my body. As I watched the game on my flat screen TV it seemed the world was problem free. Then suddenly Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a goal, ripped his shirt off and showed the world his upper body full of tattoos. Mixed in with his normal tattoo's were the names of 50 people in Africa tattooed temporarily.
As the I read the names of hungry people my perception that poverty was not an issue, corruption non-existent and world hunger inexistent changed.
I realized that world hunger affects millions of people each year and we do nothing about it. Why do people including myself need others to do something before we take action? It took me seeing Zlatan Ibrahimovic get sent off in a soccer game after taking his shirt off to show the fake tattoos that represent the names of over 50 hungry people in Africa. It took me seeing the phrase "805 million names" on Zlatan's all black boots to realize the world is completely different to my reality.

The excuse about being young and not being able to do something is outdated and is just another lame excuse in our repertoire for not doing anything to help the world.
For this reason, I have decided to take a different approach to my food truck business. Instead of selling the idea or carrying it out for a profit I have decided to present it as my idea for next years Innovation Academy class project and use the profit to make a difference in the world. Yes, I know my contribution wont be as big as Zlatan’s, but if we all put a little grain of sand to help we can build a huge sand castle.
I don’t need to get world recognition for what I do. It is not for that reason that I do it, but instead I do it so others can have the same opportunities as I currently have.
I don’t want to keep living in a bubble where everything seems so perfect and simple and pretend there are no problems in our world. I want to be a change in the world. Probably when people read this they will laugh and not believe my words; or even think I am capable of achieving this goal.
But I will succeed.
Zlatan is my inspiration. He is usually seen as an arrogant person who only cares about himself and that is what he portrays. Nevertheless, until he ripped his shirt no one knew his back-story and that is what I want to achieve with my food truck.
I want to use my passion as a way to help the world the same way Zlatan does. I want to be able to lay down on my bed each day being happy, but not because I live in a bubble where reality and problems are non-existent. Instead I want to be happy because I know I helped a kid in less fortunate conditions go to sleep with the same happiness I do.
